Resource Review – Know Your Rhythms Webinar with Stephanie Menefee

Come join us as we dive into the Know Your Rhythms resource from Theme and Variations for low-tech and no-tech ways to help your students become more confident with rhythms. We will also explore ways to use parts of the MusicPlayOnline website to support the learning and mastery of rhythm writing and reading.
Learning Objectives
Participants will learn about the different rhythmic activities in the Know Your Rhythms resource.
Participants will be able to use the puzzles and activities from Know Your Rhythms in their classes
Participants will learn about the games, units, and activities in MPO which support and coordinate with the activities in Know Your Rhythms to further guide their students toward mastery.

Participants will learn about different ways to connect students to nature, to deepen their love of nature and the environment using music and the arts, with the intention to develop their desire to care for nature. This can involve creating simple, songs using poetry forms, creating ostinati, using the movement of observed natural plants and animals observed in nature, and much more! This webinar will explore integrated curricula, such as science/nature and music/arts.
