Sort the instruments into families of unpitched
Explore the virtual unpitched instruments.
Play them, then discuss which family they belong to.
Play with hands or paper plates along with "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy"
You could also cut circles out of paper to use instead of paper plates.
Move with hands or plates to Chinese Dance from the Nutcracker

Divide your class into 3 groups. Give each group a different colored plate.
(substitute scarves or use hands if you don't have props)
