Introduction

In this lesson, you will:

  1. Sing “Time for Music”
  2. Tap the beats on the beat strip at the end of “Time for Music”
  3. Do some vocal exploration with shape cards
  4. Move to the Beat
  5. Make up your own movements or play freeze dance
  6. Sing “Poppies Red” and create new verses
  7. Show the melodic contour for “Poppies Red”
  8. Teach “Teddy Bear Hoedown”
  9. Learn the dance for “Teddy Bear Hoedown”
  10. Review “I Like Puppies”
  11. Review “Letter B”
  12. Review “Bebop Bear”
  13. Review “Bear Hunt”
  14. Optional for Thanksgiving: Review “Turkey Tango”
  15. Sing our closing song “Skinnamarink”
