Teach the three short songs by rote. Try dividing the class into two groups and sing two of the songs at the same time. If successful, divide into three groups and sing all three parts at the same time. Review what polyphonic music is: music with two or more melodies played or sung at the same time. This is
explained on page 13 of the student books. This song is a simple example of polyphonic music.
