2 Play Freeze Dance with the music

Move to the music when it plays.

When the music stops freeze!

Your teacher will stop and start the music, and will try to catch you moving after it stops!

One player holds two sticks - one plain, and one marked and his opponent has to guess which hand the marked stick is in.

The team that is holding the stick sings the song to confuse the guesser.

This documentary shows how the Lahal game is played in the Siwash Gathering in British Columbia.

You can hear songs in the documentary that are sung during the playing of the game.

12 Optional Activity 2: Color and draw how the butterfly goes

- color your butterfly while you listen to the music

- with a pencil, draw how you think the butterfly is going

- if the butterfly stops to rest, you can start over
