4 Sing the echoes in #87 "Groundhog"

Talk about Groundhog Day with students.

If it's sunny and the groundhog sees his shadow, winter will stay.

If it's cloudy and there's no shadow, spring will come soon.

This is an echo song and is easy for children to echo sing. Create movements for it.

5 Play the singing game #84 “Page’s Train” 

On Zoom: adapt the game by having students sing the song slow, then fast, and move like a slow or fast train.

In-person: make the tunnel with chairs so there is no touching.
Have students create a spaced out train, and move slow, then fast.
If no singing is allowed, play the recording.

In Lesson 19, we suggested making pompoms out of 100 strips of paper.
