Sing "Welcome Welcome"

This will be our welcome song for August - welcome to music class!

You could use this as a name song. After singing the song say hello to a student, and have the class echo you, using the same kind of voice that you used. Use high and low voices, quiet and loud voices, fast and slow. Also use speaking, whispering, shouting or calling and singing voices. When singing hello use a variety of solfa patterns: so-mi, so-la-so-mi or mi-re-do.
