In this lesson, you will:
Review the Introduction to Bucket Drumming:
1. What you can use for a bucket or sticks
2. How to hold the sticks
3. Parts of the bucket
4. Beginning exercises on the bucket
Find something to use for sticks and something to use for a bucket.
You can use drumsticks, dowels or even wooden spoons for sticks.
You could use a 5-gallon bucket, an ice cream bucket or even a cardboard box.
Learn the parts of the bucket.
You can play the sides, top and rim of the bucket.
And you can click your sticks.
View how parts of the bucket transfer to the staff.
The top line of the staff is for clicks.
The next line down is the rim of the bucket. Play on the forward part of the rim.
The next line down is for the top of the bucket.
The bottom line of the staff is the side of the bucket.
Practice this exercise on all parts of the bucket.
