Sing the song again, but this time, make up your own verses and movements.
For example: (You will need 5 different ideas)
1. Hey! Hey! Look at me! I am twisting you can see!
2. Hey! Hey! Look at me! I am jumping you can see!
3. Hey! Hey! Look at me! I am swaying you can see!
4. Hey! Hey! Look at me! I am twirling you can see!
5. Hey! Hey! Look at me! I am nodding you can see!
Review the song "Autumn Leaves" and point to the leaves while you listen.
The leaves show how the song goes higher and lower.
Play it again and sing along.

Make a word rhythm pattern with fall leaves.
You could print the page located in supporting resources or better still, draw your own!
Color your leaves red, yellow, orange, brown or green.
Say the first line of "Autumn Leaves" as your A section:
"Autumn leaves are falling, falling the to ground."
Then say your color words as a B section. Say your words two times.
You could play on an instrument while you say.
For example: Yellow, yellow, yellow, red.
If you are in class, say the A section, then have 2 students say their patterns.
Learn the words to the poem "Criss Cross Applesauce".
Learn the movements to the poem "Criss Cross Applesauce".
Listen and move to "Air" by J. S. Bach.

You could use two stuffed animals, or you could use scarves.
Find two paper plates or cut out two circles and move to "Badinerie" by J. S. Bach.

You can dance, move with stuffed animals or paper plates.
Draw shapes on paper plates to use as instruments in the "Shape Song"
Hold up the plate when the shape is called for in the song, and tap on the drum with a dowel or a pencil.
If you don't have paper plates, draw the shapes on construction paper or paper.
Sing and play along with "Shape Song".
Use the paper plate instruments you made in the previous activity.
Sing our closing song, "Skinnamarink".
