Review "Lady in the Graveyard"
Copy LinkThe students should be able to read the notes using solfa or letter names and read the rhythms. Listen to the song. Join in with the "ooos".
Remember ti?
Option 1: Teach the orff arrangement for "Lady in the Graveyard"
Copy LinkCreative Ideas: Sing the words of the song as written, then allow students to improvise for 8 beats using ABC instead of singing the Ooo. They could improvise on barred instruments or on recorders. If you had individual students improvise, you could use this as an assessment of their ability to improvise.
