Musicplay is a menu. The teacher is not expected to teach every song or activity. Choose the songs and activities from the list that will best fit your schedule and the needs of your students.
Play the recording of "Oh My Love" for the students and ask them to listen and tell you if it is in a major or a minor key (minor). Play excerpts from 4-5 other pieces and have the students tell you if they are major or minor:

This piece uses repeats. Have students complete the repeats worksheet found on musicplayonline.com. Encourage the students to read the note names and solfege of the piece.
Teach one pattern at a time and add new patterns when the students have mastered the preceding pattern. Divide the students into groups and have the students create their own patterns.
