2. How to Generate your Class Code for Beta
Go to the Dashboard on the upper left said.
Select Class Code.
The first time you select it, it will prompt you to "Generate class code"
Your class code will have 1 letter followed by 6 numbers.
The letter is not case sensitive.
This class code will be your class code for as long as you are a subscriber.
Currently you can't change your class code.
Suggestion: Each time you give your students a link to beta, include a slide with their class code.
Maybe even include a little explainer video that shows them how to log in. It's Easy!
3 3. How to Link a Song on Beta
Choose the video that you want your students to watch.
Copy the URL from your browser.
Paste the URL in your Google Slide.
When students click on the link, they will go right to the video.
(Remember that they need to have entered their class code!)
4 How to find the Month Song Lists for Musicplay
There are two options for song lists:
Option 1: Online Learning Modules - General - Month Outlines and Tech Tips
- this has the song list for the month. There are 3 columns:
1. Song List from Musicplay Teachers Guide. 2. Songs in Online Learning Modules. 3. In-person suggestions
Option 2: Lesson Planning section on Beta
- look for Planning Resources. (yellow button)

Go to the Listening section. Choose the Kit with the composer video. (Kit 1-2-3-4-5)
Choose the video that you want your students to watch. Remember that there are multiple selections.
Under the video that is open, on the far right is says "activity." Select this and the other video options will be visible. Choose the video that you want your students to watch.

On the left menu select Instruments.
Then select Recorder, then choose Recorder 1 for beginners or 2 for more advanced players.
Choose the video that you want your students to watch. Remember that there are multiple selections.
Under the video that is open, on the far right is says "activity." Select this and the other video options will be visible. Choose the video that you want your students to watch.
