Copy LinkBegin the song sitting down. Each time you sing a word that begins with the letter B, change position. The first time you sing a B word, stand up. The next time you sing a B word, sit down. Continue in this way throughout the song. When you sing the song faster, it becomes more of a challenge. Have fun!

Copy LinkThis is a silly song that will help students learn the names of many of the states in the US. After learning the song, invite students to create their own verses using states or provinces. Teach the song by rote.
Optional: Play "What Did Delaware?" on Boomwhackers or Ukuleles
Copy LinkTone set: s,l, drm in G Major. You can use letter names or solfa to read the melody. The rhythm is too complex for reading.
This melody could be played on recorder or Boomwhackers. There is a ukulele accompaniment available in the supplement resources.
